What are Your Plans?

Happy Holidays! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or just stay home and eat with family regardless of what's going on, this season and the New Year to come are times of reflection and planning.

No, this is not going to be a 'prepare your New Year's resolutions' post but, regardless, you should think about what you want to achieve for the next couple months.

I know what I want: I want the EroticEmpire to be financially viable for me and to make enough money from it that it can be either a significant secondary income or (my true desire) to be able to work for myself.

What are some of the things I want to achieve next year?

  1. Launch a line of PassionPoet and EroticEmpire themed apparel. If you've followed me on IG you would have seen a couple of the shots.

  2. Plan some EroticEmpire events, like a panel discussion hosted at an academic institution like our university. I've done two already and would love to do more. I want people to see that erotica can be discussed in public and the world won't burn! Indeed, one of the reasons for the Empire is education about sensuality in a Caribbean context, especially, but also with a global context. Everybody's gonna have sex at some point, right?

  3. Collaborate! I want to use this year to position the Erotic Empire as a company by linking with other businesses in strategic partnerships so we can help push each other and build.

What are some of the things YOU want to do for yourself or your business (if you have one) next year? Are you an artist, writer or entrepreneur? Does your work specialize mainly in empowerment or sexual education?

Tell me about any plans you might have for 2020, and if you think there's a project we can work on together next year, let's talk about that too! Leave a comment below or send me a private message or email and let's talk!
